According to His Riches

14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height; 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Ephesians 3:14-20

How do we measure spiritual abundance? The abundance available to us is measured according to His riches in Glory. Ephesians 3 is one of those glorious chapters that you can not ponder enough!

The verses shown above are a prayer by Paul for the Christians at Ephesus; they are equally applicable to Christians today. Look at what Paul asks of God in verses 14-19.

1. That He would grant you . . . to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man.

2. That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.

3. That you may be rooted and grounded in love.

4. That you may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height.

5. That you may know the love of Christ which passes knowledge.

6. That you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

As a Christian, what would you add to that list? Paul covers everything! Everything you need to walk close to the Lord and be a vibrant testimony for those around you is included in these 6 prayer requests. Look at number 4; how could we ever really be able to comprehend the width and length and depth and height of God? How could we ever truly be filled with all the fullness of God?

We can't! But, Paul's prayer is according to His riches, not ours! God can!

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen .

Look at the storehouse from which we draw; God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think! Walk, today, in the spiritual abundance granted to you by God who is able to grant you more than you could ever ask or think.

Stop and pray today that God would grant you to be strengthened in your inner man, that He would dwell in your heart in faith, that you would be rooted and grounded in love, that you would be able to comprehend the width and length and depth and height of God, that you would know the love of God that passes knowledge, and that you would be filled with all the fullness of God.

Why study at Christian Success Institute?

God states in His Holy Word many times that He wants to prosper us. He created a magnificent world full of wealth, beauty and resources for those of His creation who love Him. Christ told us that if we love Him we will follow His Commandments. We are told to study to show ourselves approved. The mission of CSI is to teach Biblical Success Principles while making Christ the focus of our lives.

By seeking Christ, by studying the Word of God, we place ourselves in a position of favor in the eyes of our Holy Creator. We want everyone to learn the principles of Stewardship which will prove us. In the parable of the Servants and the talents, we see that God will prosper us and favor us with prosperity when we use His direction in the way we handle His property.
