Watchman, What of the Night?

1 For Zion's sake I will not hold My peace,
And for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest,
Until her righteousness goes forth as brightness,
And her salvation as a lamp that burns.

You shall be called by a new name,
Which the mouth of the LORD will name.
3 You shall also be a crown of glory
In the hand of the LORD,
And a royal diadem
In the hand of your God.

6 I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem;
They shall never hold their peace day or night.
You who make mention of the LORD, do not keep silent,
7 And give Him no rest till He establishes
And till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

Isaiah 62:1, 2b-3, and 6-7a, NKJV

Watchman, what of the night?
Are there signs of His return?
Tell me, when is He coming?
Will it be soon? Will it be soon?

Those are the words of the beginning of a song I first heard many years ago. When I read Isaiah 62, I immediately thought of those words. Watchmen not only heralded the coming of enemies, but also the coming of the king. We are called by God to look at the signs of the time so that we will not be surprised when He comes again.

Christ's coming will not be a secret! For Zion's sake I will not hold my peace. As Christians we are called to be spiritual watchmen, who never hold our peace. You who make mention of the LORD, do not keep silent, and give Him no rest till He establishes and till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth. Do not be overcome by the world, by the things which go on around you. These things will surely have there end, and at Christ's return all men will bow the knee to Him and give Him glory.

I love verse 3 shown above,

You shall also be a crown of glory
In the hand of the LORD,
And a royal diadem
In the hand of your God
.

There is your calling as a true believer! That verse is not just fulfilled when we reach Glory that verse applies to us right now as well. We, as Christians are spiritual watchmen, are a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and are a royal diadem in the hand of our God.

What will we do with the crown of glory God gives to us in Heaven? We will cast it at Christ's feet; He, alone, is worthy to be praised.

Watchman, what of the night?
Are there signs of His return?
Tell me, when is He coming?
Will it be soon? Will it be soon?

Yes, praise God, it will be soon!

Why study at Christian Success Institute?

God states in His Holy Word many times that He wants to prosper us. He created a magnificent world full of wealth, beauty and resources for those of His creation who love Him. Christ told us that if we love Him we will follow His Commandments. We are told to study to show ourselves approved. The mission of CSI is to teach Biblical Success Principles while making Christ the focus of our lives.

By seeking Christ, by studying the Word of God, we place ourselves in a position of favor in the eyes of our Holy Creator. We want everyone to learn the principles of Stewardship which will prove us. In the parable of the Servants and the talents, we see that God will prosper us and favor us with prosperity when we use His direction in the way we handle His property.
