Blind Watchmen
10 His watchmen are blind,
They are all ignorant;
They are all dumb dogs,
They cannot bark;
Sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.
11 Yes, they are greedy dogs
Which never have enough.
And they are shepherds
Who cannot understand;
They all look to their own way,
Every one for his own gain,
Form his own territory.
12 " Come," one says, "I will bring wine,
And we will fill ourselves with intoxicating drink;
Tomorrow will be as today,
And much more abundant."
Isaiah 56:10-12, NKJV
Do you follow blind watchmen? As Christians you are responsible to God if you follow the wrong watchman! Who is a watchman? A watchman is one who looks out for your soul.
We've all seen movies or read stories about the person who sells his/her soul to the devil. It makes for a great story, but hardly something to take seriously. Right? That could not be more wrong! Our souls are precious to God; so precious, in fact, that He sent His only Son to redeem our souls. Apart from Him, our soul is lost for eternity; sold into sin to Satan.
Isaiah 56:11 holds a very solemn warning to all of us.
Yes, they are greedy dogs
Which never have enough.
And they are shepherds
Who cannot understand;
They all look to their own way,
Every one for his own gain,
From his own territory .
Be careful when choosing a church; make sure that the minister is a true shepherd - a wise watchman. Because people become ministers, does that mean that they are without sin? Does that mean that they are a true believers? God calls His ministers to watch out for the souls of their congregation.
According to verse 10, for whose well being does a poor watchman look out? They all look to their own way, every one for his own gain. They are greedy dogs who never have enough; they do not understand the way of truth. If they can not understand God, how can they lead others to God?
Are ministers the only watchmen? A watchmen is anyone or anything to whom you entrust your soul.
Pray today that God will grant you wisdom so that you will not follow blind watchmen. Read and study the Word of God; spend time in fellowship and prayer with God each day so that you will be able to know the difference between blind watchmen and those who can see and understand God.

God states in His Holy Word many times that He wants to prosper us. He created a magnificent world full of wealth, beauty and resources for those of His creation who love Him. Christ told us that if we love Him we will follow His Commandments. We are told to study to show ourselves approved. The mission of CSI is to teach Biblical Success Principles while making Christ the focus of our lives.

By seeking Christ, by studying the Word of God, we place ourselves in a position of favor in the eyes of our Holy Creator. We want everyone to learn the principles of Stewardship which will prove us. In the parable of the Servants and the talents, we see that God will prosper us and favor us with prosperity when we use His direction in the way we handle His property.
